When I heard that the Environmental Working Group (EWG) tested the blood of 10 Americans and found an average of over 200 chemicals.
The first thoughts that popped into my head...
- Who were these people?
- Where did they live?
- Where did they work?
- Hopefully they are different than me.
- Am I safe?
No, they could be me - or my baby.
They had tested the cord blood of 10 US babies and found an average of 200 industrial chemicals, pollutants and banned pesticides - before these infants took their first breath of air or drink of water!!

With birth defects and autism on the rise like never before, how can we turn a blind eye towards poisoning our future - literally human by human?
We have done this institutionally since 1976 when the Toxic Substances Control Act was signed. 62,000 of the old chemicals were grandfathered in, since then only 200 have been tested. See one case of litigation.
Currently, there is zero review for newly introduced industrial chemicals.
The FDA regulates none of the ingredients in personal care products!!

How toxic am I? Before I stopped using these 6 products I was probably a 7.5 out of 10 - daily!!
Although I had already started my company, didn't find out about these issues before the birth of my beautiful daughter - who has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Whenever possible, I had chosen the Organic option for foods and household items for 5 years before her birth.
The jury is still out on what factors or combination of factors have caused the dramatic rise in Autism. Since we don't know, it would have been nice to have been informed about the multitude of neurotoxins, endocrine toxins and reproductive toxins that I was paying for and subjecting my body to daily.
